What services are tied to my Microsoft account
It may be confusing after changing your password that certain online services can no longer be accessed, even though you know you're typing in the right password. Even your computer may be keeping you from logging in if it happens to be a domain-joined computer!
The following list of services is part of what is called Single Sign On (SSO). They are affected when you change your password (usually synchronizing within 15 minutes) for any service that is directly tied to your county account (@brunswickncsheriff.gov).
- Outlook email
- OneDrive
- Microsoft 365
- Domain Joined Computers
- County VPN
- UKG (Kronos)
- Watchguard
- Guardian Tracking
- CJLEADS
- KnowBe4
If you are asked to change your password, whether it is through your computer's sign-in screen or on one of these services' websites, then the password will change for ALL of them. Not just the one you changed it under.
A good rule of thumb is, if you see a Microsoft sign-in page, then it's likely that you'll use your county account information to sign in. The only exception to this would be when you are signing into eWarrants.
